Impact lives as a Youth Worker with Youth Unlimited YFC in Southwestern Ontario. This role focuses on planning engaging activities while fostering relationships with youth in both Youth Centre and school settings.
As a dedicated Youth Worker, you will develop holistic programs that meet the needs of the community's young people. Your responsibilities will include creative programming, teamwork, and working closely with volunteers and ministry partners. Building relationships is essential, along with maintaining administrative tasks and advocating for youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement youth activities in various settings
• Build supportive relationships with youth and volunteers
• Complete administrative tasks like monthly reports
• Attend regular staff meetings and training events
• Advocate for youth through fundraising initiatives
Requirements:
• Spiritual alignment with Youth Unlimited YFC’s mission
• Solid relational and leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check required
