Elevate your career as a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian at the State Hospital. This permanent position focuses on delivering therapeutic dietetic support to mental health patients and those with intellectual disabilities.

As a Specialist Dietitian, you will provide one-on-one and group dietetic input, promoting health through the 'Supporting Healthy Choices' initiative. You'll work alongside catering teams to enhance service delivery while engaging in training and research opportunities. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a collaborative attitude in a small, dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support health promotion tailored to patient needs
• Manage dietary-related health issues in patients
• Address disordered eating patterns effectively




• Enhance nutritional intake and manage weight in patients
• Collaborate on pharmacological weight management approaches

Requirements:
• HCPC registered Dietitian with 1-2 years’ clinical experience
• Experience in mental health or intellectual disabilities preferred
• Knowledgeable in therapeutic dietary requirements
• Team-oriented with robust interpersonal skills
• Open to learning and developing within a specialized setting
