Ideal candidates will work closely with educators to meet the diverse needs of students, support inclusive education, and serve on school teams. Candidates are required to have a Grade 12 diploma, an Education Assistant Certificate, and experience with youth having disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate support to meet individual student goals
• Aid in the delivery of educational programs
• Participate in advocacy and school team activities
• Coordinate with staff to enhance student learning
• Uphold safety and educational best practices
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Education Assistant Certificate required
• Six months’ experience with children/youth
• Clean BC Class 5 Driver’s License
• WHMIS 2015 certificate and safety procedure knowledge
