As a Lead On-Ice Instructor, you will create and implement effective on-ice sessions at Sensplex facilities while adhering to established safety standards. Your hockey expertise will inform your teaching, facilitating participants' growth and enjoyment in the program. Engage with the Hockey Development Team to bring fresh ideas and insights into each session.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safe and enjoyable development sessions for all participants
• Maintain compliance with OSHP policies and procedures
• Offer error-detection and corrective instruction
• Support and supervise other on-ice instructors
• Share feedback on scheduling and program improvements
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in high-level hockey or skating
• Previous coaching or instructional experience required
• Strong affinity for teaching children
• Professional demeanor and commitment to safety
• NCCP/Hockey Canada Certification is a plus
