The Department of Industrial Engineering seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow specializing in Transportation Risk Analysis. You will work under Prof. Floris Goerlandt, collaborating closely with industry stakeholders. Your research will involve refining an existing railway risk model, conducting extensive data analysis, and developing innovative risk assessment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute a comprehensive validation study of a railway risk model
• Collect and analyze data necessary for model enhancement




• Develop methods for quantitative and uncertainty risk analysis
• Improve models with advanced analytical approaches
• Communicate findings via presentations and publications

Requirements:
• Ph.D. in engineering risk analysis or similar field
• Solid analytical and mathematical skills
