This full time, permanent role offers a unique opportunity to work from 10 PM to 8 AM, engaging directly with the community. You will provide empathetic support, conduct sweeps, and advocate for clients while managing various crisis situations alongside partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide empathetic support to clients in need
• Conduct sweeps and engage with encampment residents
• Advocate for clients and collaborate with local agencies
• Drive and transport clients safely when necessary
• Respond to on-site crises and distress situations
Requirements:
• 2-year diploma or degree in relevant field
• Knowledge of addictions, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care
• Strong interpersonal and crisis management skills
• Class 5 Non-GDL driver license and clean Driver’s Abstract
• Physically capable of assisting clients in all weather
