The Waterloo Region District School Board seeks a skilled Visual Arts Teacher for Kindergarten. A Special Education Part 1 Qualification is necessary for this position.

This role is not open to current WRDSB occasional teachers and requires all applications to be submitted through Apply to Education. The selected candidate will engage students in visual arts while supporting their educational journey. You will need a current Certificate of Qualification and must submit a Criminal Record Check before employment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging visual arts lessons
• Support and guide Kindergarten students in their learning
• Collaborate with fellow educators on curriculum needs
• Participate in school events promoting art education
• Maintain updated student records and assessments

Requirements:
• Special Education Part 1 Qualification required
• Current Certificate of Qualification necessary
• Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector required
• Solid commitment to equity and inclusion
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
