Join the House of Commons as a full time Station Chef. You’ll lead food operations to deliver high-quality cuisine while ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with health standards.
This role with the Parliamentary Precinct Operations requires a bilingual (English and French) Station Chef. You'll oversee food preparation in both the Food Production Facility and Main Kitchen, managing a team to produce haute cuisine and cafeteria meals. Flexibility in shifts and locations is essential to meet fluctuating demands across the dining services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead food preparation teams in multiple kitchen environments
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality meals and services
• Maintain standards for food quality and safety
• Coordinate between hot and cold food production
• Adapt to operational changes and seasonal requirements
Requirements:
• Certification equivalent to Red Seal or TQ5
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience
• Three years in a garde-manger or similar kitchen
• Proficiency with specialized kitchen equipment
• Bilingual proficiency (English and French)
