General Labourer - Afternoon Paint Shift MC3 Manufacturing Inc. - Leamington, ON - Pay based on experience
The role Paint quality starts before anyone pulls a trigger. On the afternoon shift, you're the person who makes sure every part is clean, prepped, and hung properly so the paint team on days can do their best work. It's hands-on, physical work - and when you do it right, it shows in the finished product.
This is an afternoon shift position, primarily supporting the paint department. Beyond that, you'll be a flexible part of the shop team - available to support assembly, material handling, and general shop tasks as needed.
No experience required. If you're reliable, physically capable, and take pride in doing things properly, we'll train you on the rest.
What you'll be doing Your primary focus on the afternoon shift will be paint prep:
Clean parts to prepare them for painting - removing debris, grease, and surface contaminants
Hang parts properly on the paint line so they're ready for the day shift
Inspect parts before hanging to make sure they're paint-ready
Keep the paint prep area clean, organized, and running smoothly
Handle parts safely throughout the process
When paint prep is caught up, you'll support the broader shop with:
Product and conveyor chain assembly
Material handling throughout the shop
General cleaning and housekeeping
Assisting other departments as needed
What you bring Reliable, on time, and ready to work the afternoon shift consistently
Comfortable with physical, hands-on work throughout the shift




Detail-oriented - proper prep makes a real difference in the finished product
Safety-first mindset - PPE and procedures are non-negotiable
Willing to learn and grow into other areas of the shop over time
Manufacturing or paint prep experience is a bonus - not required

Position details This is a new position
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site General Labourer position - afternoon shift
Shift Premium of $1.50 an hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM (40Labourer hours/week standard)
Overtime pay applies after 40 hours per week - 48+ hours are common during busy periods and should be expected
