The Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is looking for a Pediatric and Perinatal Anatomical Pathologist to join its Laboratory Medicine team. This key position entails clinical and educational responsibilities along with opportunities in cooperative research.As a full-time member of CHEO, you will be responsible for pediatric anatomical pathology and perinatal services, including autopsies and lab research within EORLA. The role demands strong interpersonal skills to foster collaborative work among different medical divisions. Your expertise will also enrich the training of future medical professionals.Key Responsibilities:Provide diverse anatomical pathology services for pediatric patientsConduct perinatal pathology assessments,
including placental pathologyOffer autopsy and on-call pathology services as requiredCollaborate with clinical teams for superior patient outcomesEngage in educational and research activities within CHEO and EORLARequirements:MD with Fellowship in Anatomical Pathology or equivalentRequired Pediatric Pathology Fellowship or relevant experienceEligibility for academic appointment at the University of OttawaProven communication and teamwork skillsSuccessful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records CheckUtilize your pediatric pathology knowledge at CHEO to deliver impactful services and contribute to educational advancement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
