Be a dynamic force for youth at YMCA BC in Fort St. John as a Casual Activity Leader Substitute. Your role is essential in delivering programs that nurture children’s growth and wellness.

As a casual, on-call leader, you will engage with children aged 5 to 12, offering individualized support and programming aligned with YMCA standards. Work alongside a dedicated team to create a nurturing space where children can thrive and develop under your guidance. This position involves various responsibilities from implementing activities to maintaining a clean and safe program environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead fun, inclusive activities for children
• Ensure supervision and safety compliance during programming




• Support current staff with mentorship and training
• Create positive relationships within the community
• Prepare healthy snacks and maintain daily program upkeep

Requirements:
• Minimum age of 19
• Proven experience with children ages 5-12
• Confident in leading programs and activities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Criminal Record Check required
