Lead The Salvation Army's Gifts of Hope program in your community. This temporary role focuses on registration, participant support, and volunteer coordination for those in need.
As the Christmas Gifts of Hope Program Coordinator, you'll ensure a smooth registration process for individuals and families requiring assistance. Your responsibilities will include conducting intake assessments, maintaining accurate records, and verifying client information to provide essential services. You will also reinforce the mission of The Salvation Army and engage with community resources to maximize support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate Gifts of Hope registration days with the Casework Manager
• Assist with initial assessments and participant registrations
• Screen applicants and verify service duplication
• Maintain case management records in Link2Feed
• Prepare statistical data and program reports
Requirements:
• High school completion; Community College Diploma preferred
• Minimum one year of relevant community service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and data entry
• Valid BC Class “5” driver’s license with vehicle access
• Experience with program facilitation and community outreach
