Position Information Position Title Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative student for a computer programming intern position. As a Computer Programming Intern, you will have the prospect to work closely with experts at CIM - TAC on various projects aimed at pushing the boundaries of innovation in technology and product design, particularly within the Para sport innovation landscape.
Position Responsibilities Develop and implement the VR platform, including interactive features and realistic simulations tailored to parasport scenarios.
Skills Gained: Advanced programming in VR environments, problem-solving in user-focused design, and collaboration with domain experts.
Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from (within 1 year), a Computer Programming diploma or degree program, or similar.
Strong understanding of programming and software development concepts, including game design.
Proven strong work ethic, attendance record and productivity in an independent work environment demonstrated through previous employment, education, or volunteer experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for innovation and eagerness to learn about emerging technologies in manufacturing, design, game development and instrumentation.




Preferred Qualifications Applicants should have experience with VR platforms or a strong interest in self-directed learning.
Familiarity with VR development environments (specifically MetaQuest).

Salary $22.18 per hour
Benefits and Compensation Information An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
