The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for you! Air Canada is looking for Ramp Agents (Station Attendants) to join its Ramp Operations team at the Vancouver cargo facilities. As this stimulating position comes with various responsibilities, you will need to demonstrate great adaptability as you play a key role in ensuring our aircraft are ready to depart on time, without compromising safety.

What will your day be like?

As a Ramp Agent (Station Attendant), you will be responsible for baggage and cargo handling, as well as operating a wide variety of equipment. You will also:

Drive and operate vehicles and equipment intended for the routine maintenance of aircraft

Guide or tow aircraft to parking stands for the boarding and deboarding of customers

Safely and efficiently process all cargo/mail in our facilities

Participate in the loading and unloading of customer cargo and baggage

Prepare aircraft for arrivals and departures

Please note that operations also include several support positions.

Qualifications
Job Characteristics
Teamwork is essential here. We work together safely and efficiently to keep our fleet moving. This is a physically active role that requires you to be on the ramp or in the baggage room all year round, so you must be prepared to work in any weather condition.

To join us, you must have:

A valid driver's license

Availability for shift work

Ability to lift 70 lbs

Pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol test

Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
