Manage engaging programs for children at BGC East Scarborough as a Senior Program Coordinator. Drive quality, inclusiveness, and diverse offerings in youth services.
This full time, on-site position requires a degree in Child and Youth work or a related field, along with 5 years of relevant experience with children. You will ensure compliance with policies, develop collaborative partnerships, and support supervisors in delivering enriching programs for youth aged 6-14.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement effective out-of-school programs
• Recommend and enforce safety programs and procedures
• Collaborate with community organizations for program projects
• Mentor and support program staff effectively
• Conduct evaluations and identify program improvement strategies
Requirements:
• Degree in Child and Youth work, Early Childhood Education, or Social Work
• 5+ years of experience with children aged 6-12
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to travel for community and project needs
