About the Opportunity

Prepare and review consolidation and corporate entries in accordance with IFRS, including: accruals accounting, capitalized interest, mortgages, derivatives, and intercompany transfers

Support management in researching and applying accounting policies, and assist in developing accounting guidance for significant accounting issues and transactions

Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statement package, which includes the balance sheet, income statement, KPIs and covenants

Assist with the preparation of quarterly public reporting materials, including disclosures relating to debt, G&A;, interest expense and other corporate accounts

Support the year end annual audit as well as quarterly reviews and represent a key point of contact for the audit team

Assist management with other ad-hoc projects as company continues to grow, including acquisitions, process improvement within financial reporting, and financial system upgrades (namely Yardi)

Support cash management and coordinate setup and approval of wire transfers/EFT, relating to acquisitions and operating expenses, through multiple online banking platforms

About You

CPA, or working towards a CPA, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a large audit firm or public company environment

Strong knowledge of IFRS, including consolidation, financial statement and MD&A; preparation, and public reporting

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel skills required

You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this chance.

Salary Range
$80,000 - $100,000 / year

Benefits

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k)



retirement plan.
