Surrey Schools is hiring a talented Mechanical Tradesperson for its HVAC team. Ideal candidates will have skills in Millwright, Gas Fitting, or Refrigeration and be ready to work on various installations and repairs. This unionized position offers an ideal Monday to Friday schedule with occasional afternoons for flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete HVAC installations and renovations at school sites
• Work collaboratively within a mechanical maintenance team
• Handle repairs and preventive maintenance effectively
• Use provided tools and equipment responsibly
• Uphold safety regulations during all activities

Requirements:
• BCTQ certification preferably in Gas Fitter, Refrigeration, or Millwright
• Class “B” Gas Ticket; Class “A” is preferred
• Familiarity with direct digital control (DDC)
• Current Class 5 BC Driver’s license
• Physical health to manage job duties
