The role entails observing detainee behavior, ensuring proper hygiene, and maintaining the security of the cellblock. Working under the guidance of the RCMP, you will assist in routine activities while having opportunities for advancement. Various shift patterns are available to accommodate diverse schedules across Vancouver Island and the Yukon.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor prisoner activity regularly and with CCTV support
• Organize meals and maintain operational logs




• Ensure the cleanliness and security of prisoner cells
• Manage cellblock key storage and security protocols
• Dispense approved medications under supervision

Requirements:
• Certification in Occupational First Aid level 1
• Eligibility for RCMP Reliability Clearance
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Fit for physical tasks including mobility standards
• Interest in participating in ongoing training programs
