Toromont Cat seeks a dedicated full time Shop Helper in Guelph! Support our rental shop operations by maintaining organization and efficiency throughout the workspace.
In this role, you will assist Shop Technicians and Supervisors, ensuring all tools and equipment are well-managed and ready for use. Your daily tasks include cleaning equipment, tracking tools, and preparing components for technicians or shipping. Working in a garage environment, you'll prioritize safety while contributing to shop cleanliness and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
• Assist with tool storage and calibration tasks
• Locate and prepare equipment for repairs
• Ensure proper waste segregation for contamination control
• Help technicians with on-site tasks as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or 3+ years workshop experience
• Valid G Driver’s License required
• Capable of lifting 30-50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in mechanical settings
