Be a key player in our manufacturing plant as a Counterbalance Forklift Operator. This role involves safe material handling and efficient delivery management to ensure operations run smoothly.
Your direct responsibility is to the shift supervisor, focusing on safely operating the forklift and efficiently supplying and organizing materials. With a minimum of two years’ experience, you will ensure all areas comply with FIFO practices while maintaining inventory accuracy in EPICS. Your efforts will directly contribute to operational efficiency and safety in the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete daily preoperational checklist for forklift
• Supply materials to prevent downtime in the plant
• Load and unload materials at temper ovens efficiently
• Accurately log information into EPICS system
• Organize storage areas for billets and logs
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education
• At least 2 years of experience on a counterbalance forklift
• Valid certification for forklift operation
• Basic computer skills and familiar with measurements
• Experience with multi-directional COMBI forklift a plus
