Join RTX, the leader in aerospace, as a Deburr Technician in Oakville, Ontario. This onsite position is focused on refining landing gear components during the weekend shifts.
In collaboration with the Advanced Structures team, you'll ensure top-notch quality by performing finishing tasks like deburring and polishing. Reporting to the Weekend Day Shift Supervisor, your work will directly support production schedules and adherence to high standards in aerospace components. Your contributions will enhance both product integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute deburring, filing, and polishing tasks
• Ensure quality compliance through operator self-verification
• Utilize overhead cranes for handling components
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives
• Support additional surface finishing activities
Requirements:
• High school graduation with 1-3 years deburring experience
• Robust skill in reading micrometers and verniers
• Must be eligible for ITAR compliance in Canada
• Experience with drawing specifications and process sheets
• Ability to work precisely to meet production standards
