Profile
Our client, a well-established Canadian company in the wholesale apparel and accessories industry, is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to develop and grow its business throughout the United States.
This is a hunter/farmer role, with approximately 50% focused on new business development and 50% focused on managing and growing existing accounts.
The successful candidate will develop current retail relationships while strengthening existing customer relationships through upselling and cross-selling the company's product lines.
This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for a confident, relationship-driven sales professional who is comfortable managing a territory independently, meeting buyers face-to-face and spending approximately two weeks per month traveling throughout the United States.

Functions
- Develop new business throughout the U.S.
by identifying, prospecting and converting new accounts.
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B customers.
- Build strong relationships with buyers and decision-makers within specialty retailers, gift and souvenir stores, resorts, casinos, tourist attractions, museums, hotels and other related accounts.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products across the company's portfolio.
- Conduct regular in-person customer visits and presentations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing and ongoing account management.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and territory plan.
- Follow up on leads, quotes, orders and customer requests in a timely manner.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to develop new relationships and strengthen existing accounts.
