The bigger picture
We’re looking for a collaborative and adaptable professional to come on board as our Third-Party Management (TPM) Advisor. In this role, you will help to design, implement and strengthen third-party risk management, sourcing and contracting processes to optimize value, manage risk, and support successful business outcomes from the Credit Union’s third-party relationships and agreements.
How you’ll be spending your time
- Designing, implementing and supporting third-party risk management processes and activities
- Partnering with stakeholders to manage third-party performance, contract obligations, and emerging risks
- Developing and preparing reporting related to third-party risks and performance
- Guiding and supporting business partners on third-party risk management, sourcing, and contracting policies and best practices
- Providing advice for contract reviews, renewals, and negotiations
- Ensuring contracts align with organizational standards, authorities, and policies

The experience you bring
- Experience in or across third-party risk management, procurement, or vendor relationship management fields
- Post‑secondary education in a business-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Third-party Risk Management or other risk management related training or certifications are assets
- Procurement or supply chain related designation (SCMP, CPSM, CIPS) are assets
- Experience leading or supporting contract reviews and negotiations,
and an understanding of contracting standards and practices in the Canadian financial services industry is an asset
- Experience reviewing and negotiating IT, professional services, and/or facilities related contracts is an asset
- Working knowledge of third-party and other related risk management principles and governance frameworks, particularly in Canadian financial services is an asset
Salary range $85,200 - $113,599 with 13% Short Term Incentive Target
