Threat Intelligence Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

We partner with the world's leading AI research teams to build and train cutting-edge AI models. Now, we're looking for experienced threat intelligence professionals to bring their real-world expertise to the frontier of AI development.

Your knowledge of adversaries, campaigns, TTPs, and CTI workflows will directly shape how AI understands, analyzes, and communicates cyber threats — making a meaningful impact on the security intelligence capabilities of tomorrow's AI systems.

- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

- Analyze and classify real-world threat reports, adversary campaigns, and attacker behavior patterns
- Evaluate indicators of compromise, TTPs, and end-to-end attack narratives for accuracy and realism
- Help generate, structure, and validate threat intelligence data used to train and assess AI systems
- Review AI-generated threat intelligence outputs and flag inaccuracies, inconsistencies, or fabricated behavior
- Apply your practitioner knowledge to distinguish genuine attacker tradecraft from noise or synthetic data

Who You Are

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in threat intelligence, SOC analysis, or security research
- Familiar with MITRE ATT&CK;, OSINT collection methodologies, or CTI workflows
- Strong ability to evaluate adversary behavior and identify what's realistic versus what isn't
- Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

- Experience producing or consuming structured threat intelligence (STIX/TAXII, threat reports, IOC feeds)
- Background in red teaming, incident response, or malware analysis
- Familiarity with APT group profiling or campaign tracking
- Prior experience working on AI training or evaluation projects

Why Join Us

- Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs
- Fully remote and adaptable — work on your own schedule
- Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
- Use your specialized security expertise in a high-impact, novel way
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
