SPECIAL EDUCATION PART 1 QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) PART 1 OR TEACHING ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS (TELL) PART 1 QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED

As per Article L26.03, D (1) of the WRDSB ETFO Local Collective Agreement; all openings occurring throughout the school year will be posted with one (1) follow-up posting as a result of a Teacher transfer resulting from the original posting. This contract opening is the result of a subsequent transfer, and as such, WRDSB ETFO contract teachers are not eligible to apply to this posting

Candidates that apply to this posting who are not qualified will have their names removed prior to the posting being released to the Principal.

PLEASE NOTE - your qualifications must be current as of the date of this posting, ie, if you are currently enrolled in the course or if you are in the midst of the course, you are NOT eligible to apply to this posting.

As a condition of employment you are required to submit a Criminal Record Check (CRC) including the vulnerable sector that is acceptable to the board. Human Resources must be in receipt of the original CRC before your employment can begin. Please note that the Board does not assume any costs associated with the Criminal Record Check.

Pay for a teaching position at the WRDSB is in alignment with the terms of the Central Agreement with ETFO. The pay is based on QECO qualifications and years of experience (as approved by the board), as outlined in this chart.
