Living in Yukon, Thriving in Life

Our goal is to support all learners in developing the essential skills, knowledge and personal qualities that they need to thrive in life.

Public schools in Yukon Communities are operated by three school authorities: Yukon Education (Department of Education), First Nation School Board (FNSB) and Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon (CSFY).

There are 14 Yukon First Nations and 8 traditional language groups in the Yukon.

Yukon Education is looking for teacher on calls for J.V. Clark School in Mayo for the 2026/2027 school year.

At J.V. Clark School, our mission is to foster collaboration between the community and school to create a safe and nurturing environment. Our goal is to empower students to become confident, responsible, and productive lifelong learners, excelling socially, academically, and culturally in local and global settings.

We, the students and staff of J.V. Clark School, respectfully recognize and acknowledge that we live, work, learn and play within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun.
