Java Backend Developer Banking Domain only Location: Canada Fully Remote Experience: 39 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong Banking/Financial Services domain experience to develop and maintain secure, scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java backend applications and microservices .
Build scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and optimize backend services supporting banking and financial applications.
Work with SQL databases, Hibernate/JPA, and data-intensive applications .
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
Collaborate with business, QA, Dev
Ops, and engineering teams in an Agile setting.
Required Skills 39 years of professional Java development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot, and Microservices .
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Hibernate/JPA, Git, and Maven/Gradle .
Experience with JUnit and automated testing .
Mandatory: Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
Strong understanding of secure and scalable enterprise application development.
Eligibility Candidates must have Canadian Banking/Financial Services experience .
