Desktop Engineer Bilingual (English & French) Location: Montreal, QC Work Arrangement: Onsite Job Type: Contract / Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a Bilingual Desktop Engineer (English & French) to provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and desktop engineering services in an onsite environment.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience supporting Windows environments, end-user devices, applications, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Provide onsite Level 2/3 desktop and technical support to end users.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.

Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterprise applications.

Perform software installations, upgrades, patches, and system configurations.

Manage user accounts, access, permissions, and endpoint configurations.

Diagnose and resolve network, VPN, printing, and connectivity issues.

Support endpoint security, antivirus, encryption, and device compliance requirements.

Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.

Track and manage incidents and service requests using ITSM/ticketing tools.





Escalate complex issues to appropriate infrastructure, network, security, or application teams.

Provide professional technical support in both English and French .

Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering, Desktop Support, EUC, or a similar IT support role.

Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 environments.

Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management .

Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and peripherals.

Experience with imaging, software deployment, patching, and endpoint configuration.

Familiarity with ITSM tools such as Service

Now, Remedy, Jira, or similar platforms.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.

Ability to work onsite in Montreal, QC .

Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft Intune / SCCM / MECM.

Knowledge of Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID.

Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale IT environments.

Relevant Microsoft or IT certifications are an asset.
