Join Weldco Heavy Industries in Fort McKay as a Journeyman Welder on a 14 days on, 14 days off rotation. Your expertise in GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW will be central to repairing large mining equipment.

At WHI, we're seeking experienced Journeyman Welders with a robust background in heavy steel fabrication and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for the repair and rebuilding of substantial mining equipment, ensuring high-quality standards. Our facility emphasizes teamwork, and your contributions will directly impact our success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair/rebuild large mining equipment components
• Utilize GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW welding techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately




• Participate actively in safety programs
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace

Requirements:
• Certified Red Seal or Alberta Journeyperson Welder
• Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing workplace
• Valid fall protection & elevated work platform certificate
• Additional safety certifications are an asset
• Preference for experience in Oil Sands sites
