Are you passionate about designing modern, scalable ERP solutions using Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Microsoft Cloud?

We are looking for an experienced and technically driven Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Architect to join our Data & Dynamics team.

Leveraging your expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central, AL development, integrations, Azure services, Power Platform, and Microsoft cloud technologies, you will define and lead the technical architecture for business transformation initiatives across a diverse range of industries.

You will work closely with clients, Functional Architects, Solution Architects, Developers, and delivery teams to design secure, scalable, supportable, and future-ready solutions that maximize business value while minimizing technical debt.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will provide leadership throughout the entire solution lifecycle from pre-sales through design, implementation, deployment, and support transition.

Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops

Design and govern end-to-end Business Central technical architectures

Define application extensibility strategies leveraging:

AL Extensions

AppSource Solutions

Custom Applications

Event-Based Architecture

Architect integrations between Business Central and:

Dynamics 365 CE

Power Platform

Azure Integration Services

Microsoft Fabric

E-Commerce Platforms

Payroll Systems

Banking Platforms

Third-Party Business Applications

Design secure and scalable data integration patterns utilizing:

APIs





Web Services

Azure Service Bus

Logic Apps

Azure Functions

Event Grid

Lead technical solution reviews and code governance activities

Define development standards, branching strategies, release management, and DevOps processes

Provide guidance on performance optimization, system scalability, security, and maintainability

Collaborate with Functional Architects and Solution Architects to align business requirements with technical designs

Support data migration architecture and conversion strategies

Participate in pre-sales activities including estimates, architecture reviews, technical demonstrations, Statements of Work, and solution planning

Mentor developers and consultants while contributing to technical practice development

Stay current on Business Central, Copilot, AI, Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft Cloud platform advancements

7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience

5+ years designing enterprise ERP technical architectures

Multiple full lifecycle Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects

Deep expertise with:

AL Development

Extensions

AppSource Applications

Business Central APIs

Web Services

Azure Integration Services

Strong understanding of:

Business Central Application Architecture

Azure Architecture

Integration Patterns

Security Models

Performance Optimization

Data Migration Approaches

Experience designing integrations between Business Central and external applications

Experience implementing CI/CD and DevOps methodologies

Hands-on experience with:

Azure DevOps

Git

Automated Deployments

Testing Frameworks

Experience producing:

Technical Design Documents

Architecture Diagrams

Integration Specifications

Data Migration Designs

Robust consulting, facilitation,



stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills

Experience working within Agile delivery environments

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications

Microsoft Azure Certifications (Architect, Developer, Integration, or DevOps)

Experience with:

Azure Integration Services

Power Platform

Microsoft Fabric

Power BI

Copilot Studio

AI-powered business solutions

Experience developing AppSource solutions

Experience with multi-company, multi-entity, and multi-currency organizations

Experience leading distributed development teams

Consulting experience within ERP transformation and modernization programs

Work with one of North America's leading Microsoft partners

Participate in large-scale Business Central and Microsoft Cloud transformation projects

Collaborate with highly skilled architects, consultants, and developers

Influence technical standards and solution delivery approaches across the practice
