Bayshore Medical Personnel is hiring a Full time Mental Health Registered Nurse in Edmonton, AB to support military health services. Benefit from a schedule with no nights and no weekends.

Seeking dedicated professionals, this position requires three years of mental health experience within the last five years. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will assess clients, develop care plans, and conduct crisis interventions in a primary care setting. Leadership in therapy sessions using CBT, DVT, and motivational interviewing is essential for addressing clients’ diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document mental health conditions
• Design and implement effective care plans
• Facilitate crisis interventions swiftly




• Lead therapy groups and individual sessions
• Manage medication for outpatient and inpatient care

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a Nursing Bachelor’s degree
• Mental Health Nursing or Psychiatric certification from CNA
• Active RN license in Alberta
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Proficient in conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations
