iA Financial Group seeks a Financial Underwriting Consultant to evaluate risks in large cases. A robust focus on excellent financial analysis and high-quality evaluations is critical. Collaborate with various departments while sharing your knowledge and providing coaching services. You will also negotiate with reinsurers and engage in training sessions regarding underwriting philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate high-risk cases for life insurance and disability
• Produce evaluations within a 24-hour turnaround time




• Provide advisory and coaching as a financial resource
• Negotiate effectively with reinsurers and sales force
• Conduct presentations on underwriting guidelines and clarifications

Requirements:
• University degree and 10 years underwriting experience
• Minimum 5 years as a Mid Market underwriter
• ALU and FLMI designations are assets
• Bilingualism in French and English
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
