Drive innovation as a Weblogic SOA Tuxedo MQ Expert located in Brampton, ON for a 6+ month contract. Provide critical production support while utilizing your Oracle Tuxedo and IBM MQ expertise.
This role emphasizes administration and support of Oracle Tuxedo Application Server and administration of IBM MQ. You will use your superior problem-solving skills, knowledge of SDLC practices, and effective communication to troubleshoot and improve middleware infrastructure solutions. Your mentoring abilities will also empower your team and enhance collaborative efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-call support during non-business hours
• Administer Oracle Tuxedo Application Server efficiently
• Troubleshoot L3 Tuxedo issues across all environments
• Analyze monitoring results for operational improvements
• Develop project plans and suitable documentation
Requirements:
• Proficiency in Oracle Tuxedo and IBM MQ
• Robust experience with WebSphere MQ concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience designing SOA solutions and reusable components
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like CA Service Desk
