In this role, you will work closely within the Mental Health and Addictions Program, performing assessments and helping to stabilize patients in acute care. Your responsibilities will include developing care plans through interdisciplinary collaboration and ensuring educational support to families and staff. A commitment to cross-training in all areas of inpatient mental health is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with health care providers on patient care
• Conduct mental status exams and nursing assessments




• Develop and lead patient care plans with the team
• Provide educational resources on psychiatric issues
• Maintain safety standards for staff and patients

Requirements:
• Active registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in mental health settings within last 3 years
• Team-oriented with solid independent working skills
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act requirements
• Effective communication and organizational skills
