Job description

Oversee daily motel operations on the property (housekeeping and maintenance).

Hire, train, schedule and supervise maintenance employees.

Ensure compliance with Health, safety and company policies.

Coordinate maintenance and upkeep of the property and associated vehicles.

Coordinate with support services/trades.

Resolve issues promptly on the property.

Supervise rooms maintenance daily.

Maintain inventory (vehicles, tools and supplies) and order supplies as needed.

Coordinate snow removal operation.

Coordinate support of onsite electronic equipment.

Must be able to coordinate maintenance and operate equipment (tractors, trucks, loaders).

Assist other departments as needed.

Qualification

Previous experience in hotel, motel, hospitality, or property management is an asset.





Solid leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Experience managing expenses and staff.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.

Proficiency with video and computer systems.

Post-secondary education in hospitality, business, or a related field is an asset.

Experience coordinating trades.
