Join Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow as a Clinical Scientist, specializing in advanced Mass Spectrometry techniques. Contribute to a full-spectrum laboratory diagnostic service.

As a part of a vibrant team of clinical scientists and consultants, this role focuses on analytical development and clinical application in toxicology and metabolic biochemistry. The position requires an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry and HCPC registration, with the expectation of passing FRCPath Part 1 for AfC 8a qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement analytical skills in LC-MS/MS and GC-MS
• Collaborate in departmental reporting and audits
• Participate in clinical research and development
• Facilitate teaching and training within the team
• Provide clinical interpretation and liaising support

Requirements:
• Prior experience in Clinical Biochemistry required
• HCPC registration as Clinical Scientist mandatory
• MSc or equivalent qualification necessary
• FRCPath Part 1 strongly preferred
• Progressing towards FRCPath considered for some candidates
