Become a key player at Memorial University's Marine Institute in the Development and Engagement Officer position. Focus on building relations and leading fundraising strategies while engaging alumni.

This Band Level 8 role is a contract position until November 2027. The Marine Institute seeks individuals with 5-7 years of experience in development or fundraising, particularly in educational or nonprofit environments. You will coordinate various engagement initiatives, enhance donor relations, and support alumni programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and coordinate fundraising activities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and units
• Draft and manage donor correspondence
• Execute alumni initiatives and programs
• Oversee the alumni and donor database

Requirements:
• Experience in development/fundraising fields
• Master's degree in business administration or relevant field
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver’s license for required travel
