As the Signals & Communications (S&C;) Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and developing a safety-focused work environment. Daily activities include inspecting installations, managing radio systems, and coordinating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency. Your role directly impacts the successful movement of trains across Northern Ontario and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coach junior S&C; staff
• Approve current or modified S&C; systems
• Maintain accurate equipment records and configurations
• Investigate radio interference and issues
• Coordinate activities with construction and maintenance teams
Requirements:
• High school diploma and Electronics Technology Diploma
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong VoIP and networking knowledge
• Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks
• Knowledge of S&C; standards and regulatory requirements
