Job Description Partner Staffing on behalf of our Client, we are seeking an IntermediateCivil/Geotechnical Field Engineer with hands-on experience in deepfoundation projects (piles, caissons, drilled shafts, and anchors). The roleinvolves field supervision, construction inspection, and coordination withmultidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently,and in accordance with design specifications.

Requirements Key Responsibilities Provideon-site engineering support for deep foundation construction, includingpile driving, drilled shafts, and ground improvement techniques.
Monitorand document field activities, including site observations, constructionprogress, and quality control measures.
Conductsite inspections and tests (e.g., soil sampling, cone penetration tests,dynamic pile testing, integrity tests).
Collaboratewith design engineers to resolve field-related issues and proposepractical solutions.
Preparetechnical reports, as-built drawings, and field documentation for clientsubmission.
Ensurecompliance with project specifications, safety standards, and localregulations.
Assistin project planning,



scheduling, and resource allocation.
Mentorjunior engineers and field technicians as required.
Qualifications Bachelor’sdegree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
3–7years of experience in geotechnical engineering or deep foundationconstruction projects.
Intermediateproficiency in field engineering tasks and construction supervision.
Experiencewith deep foundation methods: driven piles, drilled shafts, micropiles,and ground improvement.
Knowledgeof relevant Canadian standards and regulations (e.g., CSA, AlbertaConstruction Codes).
Strongtechnical writing and reporting skills.
Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills.
Abilityto work in outdoor and sometimes challenging site conditions.
Preferred Skills Familiaritywith geotechnical software (PLAXIS, GeoStudio, LPILE, GRLWEAP).
Experiencewith instrumentation, monitoring, and load testing of foundations.
H&Scertifications; (e.g., WHMIS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection).
