As an Enterprise Data Quality Manager , you will establish, lead, and continuously enhance Vancity’s Enterprise Data Quality Management Program. You will partner with business, technology, risk, privacy, compliance, Data Owners, and Data Stewards to improve trust, accountability, and business value from enterprise data. This role is responsible for defining enterprise data quality frameworks, business rules, governance practices, KPIs, KRIs, reporting, and data lineage standards while enabling enterprise data governance capabilities across Microsoft Purview, Azure, Databricks, and Unity Catalog. We are seeking an experienced data management leader with strong expertise in data governance, data quality, enterprise reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Director, Data Governance and Management. This role offers a flexible work arrangement. Candidates located in British Columbia will work in a hybrid workplace, while candidates located in Ontario may work remotely from their home office.

Your Role in Supporting Our Members:

Establishing and operationalizing Vancity’s Enterprise Data Quality Management Program including frameworks, standards, operating models, governance processes, issue management, and continuous improvement practices

Designing and implementing enterprise data quality standards, procedures, controls, and monitoring practices

Partnering with Data Owners, Data Stewards, subject matter experts, and technical teams to define and implement business rules, validation rules, and quality controls

Enabling enterprise data governance capabilities across Microsoft Purview, Unity Catalog, Azure, and Databricks platforms

Developing enterprise data quality KPIs, KRIs, scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting to support visibility and accountability

Monitoring data quality performance, trends, risks, and remediation activities to support informed decision-making

Leading the development and operationalization of business and technical data lineage practices to improve traceability and trust in enterprise reporting

Supporting regulatory readiness, audit requirements,



and governance obligations through effective documentation and controls

Collaborating with business, technology, risk, privacy, and compliance teams to improve enterprise data quality and governance maturity

Identifying opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement across data quality management practices

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline

Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in data governance, data quality management, data management, analytics, or enterprise data programs

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise data quality frameworks, standards, controls, and governance practices

Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Azure, Databricks, Unity Catalog, or similar technologies

Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, metadata management, data quality controls, and enterprise reporting

Experience developing KPIs, KRIs, scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting for enterprise stakeholders

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with experience collaborating across business and technology teams

Experience supporting audit, regulatory, risk management, or compliance requirements related to enterprise data

Professional certifications such as CDMP, DCAM, DAMA, Azure Data certifications, or equivalent are considered an asset

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $116,500 to $150,700 per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
