As an intern for 16 weeks, you will play a vital role in enhancing Equity Programs by managing volunteer engagement and strengthening community connections for young Canadians. This chance will help develop your skills in program coordination, stakeholder communication, and community building, particularly focusing on the needs of Black and newcomer youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with volunteer recruitment and engagement activities
• Coordinate check-ins with volunteers and recognition efforts
• Promote an active volunteer community through digital platforms
• Keep track of volunteer participation records
• Collaborate on improving volunteer programs
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage priorities
• Interest in equity initiatives and youth engagement
• Familiarity with engagement tools considered an asset
