Are you a skilled Apprentice or Journeyperson Ironworker looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a major industrial project? At Ledcor, we take pride in safety, quality, and craftsmanship, and we’re looking for dedicated professionals to join our team for a major expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Essential Responsibilities Erect, install, and align structural steel components (beams, columns, platforms, pipe racks) per engineered drawings
Perform bolt-up, torqueing, and structural assembly to specification
Execute rigging and signaling for crane lifts, guiding loads safely into place
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and lift plans to support accurate installation
Complete FLHAs and follow all site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit systems
Operate and inspect tools, rigging equipment, and access equipment
Support material handling, site organization, and crew activities
Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcor’s high standards for safety and quality
Requirements Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority
Previous industrial construction experience
Must be able to work from heights
Fall Protection Certification
Valid government ID
Project online orientations must be completed
Work Conditions Start Date: Mid July 2026
Work schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
