Lead the Bylaw Enforcement team at the City of Salmon Arm as a Senior Officer. This full-time position emphasizes strong leadership and community-focused enforcement practices.

As a Senior Bylaw Enforcement Officer, your role is pivotal in ensuring fair bylaw application while guiding a dedicated team. You will be responsible for managing enforcement operations, mentoring team members, and maintaining close communication with community partners. Your expertise will facilitate effective issue resolution and promote public education to encourage voluntary compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor Bylaw Enforcement personnel
• Coordinate and oversee enforcement operations daily
• Investigate complex bylaws and facilitate enforcement




• Educate the public on compliance expectations
• Maintain comprehensive enforcement records and reports

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education plus relevant post-secondary studies
• Training in Compliance and Investigative Skills
• At least 7 years of related work experience
• 3 years of supervisory experience desired
• Solid report writing and investigation skills
