This role is pivotal for coordinating operations, providing direction to Journeyperson and Apprentice Ironworkers, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. You’ll be responsible for managing maintenance schedules, adapting to shifting project priorities, and maintaining high-quality work standards. Active engagement in training new hires and conducting daily toolbox talks will be part of your routine.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage execution of shutdown and turnaround rigging
• Provide daily leadership and support to ironworkers
• Ensure safety of crew and work setting
• Maintain documentation for accurate record-keeping
• Coordinate with other Foremen for operation sequencing
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Ironworker certification required
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a foreman role
• Experience in heavy industry shutdowns
• Capability to manage extended shifts
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
