Bringing your knowledge and experience in machine operation, you will be trained on the equipment and tools. As a Fabrication Technician, you bring Lush’s Leadership Practices into all elements of your business: Be Real, Be Curious, Lead Fearlessly, Adapt and Evolve, Grow Talent, and Live with Purpose.What You Do (Responsibilities)OperationsSet up vacuum formers, click-press, and related fabrication machines & equipmentOperate vacuum forming machine(s) to fabricate high-quality moulds with RPET, BHIPS, and other industry-standard materialsOperate click press machine(s) and other cutting tools, including but not limited to paper cutters and scissors, to trim fabricated moulds to the desired specificationsAssemble, prepare, organize, and package finished moulds and other fabricated products for dispatching and/ or storing purposesDispatch pallets of mould orders utilizing pallet trucks, forklifts,
and similar equipmentShip via carrier terminals when requiredCut plywood and other forms of wood to produce the materials necessary for tooling fabricationMix and pour hardening and curing agents such as, but not limited to, concrete and epoxy resin to form mould castsUtilize power tools to shape and refine mould castsPerform and document routine cleaning, maintenance, and repairs on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtimeReport equipment malfunctions or issues to leadership and collaborate on resolutionDocument production data, complete checklists, and submit reports to the RMT when neededSupport 3D printing operations by queuing, dismounting, removing structures, cleaning, and swapping materials/ equipment on the 3D printersParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancementsCollaborate with the Moulds leadership, team members, and support groups to align production goals with overall departmental objectives and to resolve production challengesContribute to a positive team workplace focused on learning, safety, quality, and shared successSupports new or returning staff as required with onboarding, demonstrations of daily duties and responsibilities, while ensuring safety and SOP guidelines are being followedSafetyFollow health and safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper handling of materials and toolsMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspaceDocument and report unsafe conditions or incidents to the appropriate personnelQualityFollow company standards and guidelines procedures during all phases of productionConduct quality checks at various stages of production to ensure compliance with product specificationsDocument and report quality concerns to the appropriate personnelWho You Are (Qualifications)Required:Has held current role for a minimum of 1 yearBasic technical skills related to equipment setup, operation, and troubleshootingStrong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors or defectsBasic computer literacy for equipment controls and production reportingAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs for extended periodsComfortable working in a fast -paced, high-production environmentAble to work with moderate noise levels and manufacturing equipmentPreferred:Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication,
