Tittle: Business/Data Analyst Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid) Duration: months Pay rate: $/hr Position Overview Role is a transversal Business/Data Analyst supporting CIB (Corporate & Institutional Banking) .

The position works across multiple departments and global teams, including Americas, Europe, and APAC .

The person will investigate data/process/system issues , identify the root cause, and coordinate with the appropriate stakeholders to resolve them.

This is a techno-functional role , not a pure developer or reporting role.

Must-Have Requirements CIB / Institutional / Corporate Banking experience is the key requirement.

Minimum around years of relevant experience ; years of strong institutional banking experience can be sufficient.

Business Analyst or Data Analyst experience.

Understanding of banking processes and end-to-end data journey .

Ability to identify and coordinate with key stakeholders across different banking functions.

Robust understanding of Credit / Corporate Lending is highly preferred.

Experience working with data projects, data investigation, or process improvement is valuable.

Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.





Must be comfortable communicating with US bankers and senior/high-level users .

Must be able to explain complex issues clearly and summarize information concisely.

Technical Skills SQL and Python are preferred.

Automation/coding experience is a plus.

They are not looking for a senior developer .

Focus is on using technical skills for automation and improving manual processes , rather than dashboard development.

Power BI/reporting/dashboard-heavy profiles are not the target.

Banking Background Candidates from large institutional banks can be considered, such as Morgan Stanley, Scotia, etc., provided their actual experience is relevant.

Retail Banking and SME Banking experience is not considered relevant.

Generic credit experience alone is not sufficient; the candidate needs exposure to the CIB/Institutional/Corporate Banking environment .

Ideal Candidate + years + CIB/Institutional Banking + Business/Data Analysis + Credit/Lending exposure + SQL/Python/Automation + strong English communication.
