We are a warm, close-knit family of four in South Burnaby looking for a full-time nanny to join our household. Our previous nanny was with us for three years, and we are looking for someone equally dedicated, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about caring for young children.

About Our Family

We are two working parents — a medical doctor and a business executive — with two young boys, ages 4 and 9 months. We value a calm, predictable home environment and a caregiver who is thoughtful about child development and responsive to each child's individual needs.

The Role

This is a full-time position. Your primary responsibility will be the care of our 9-month-old baby boy during the daytime. You will also help our 4-year-old get ready in the morning before daycare, and support him when he returns in the afternoon.

Responsibilities

- Helping our 4-year-old with his morning routine before daycare drop-off
- Full care of our infant: feeding, diapering, bathing, naps, and age-appropriate play and stimulation
- Engaging and responsive interaction to support healthy infant development




- Light meal preparation for the baby and preparing snacks for our 4-year-old
- Maintaining a safe, interactive, and nurturing environment

What We Are Looking For

- Previous experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Certification in the domain of child care and early childhood education is valued but not required
- Warm, patient, and interactive. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being present with young children
- Reliable, trustworthy, and communicative
- Non-smoker
- CPR/ First-aid certification is also valued

Compensation
