Excavator Operators - Heavy Oil Project - Fort McMurray, AB

OCL Group Inc. is seeking experienced Excavator Operators for a heavy oil project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves operating large excavators in oil sands environments, focusing on safety and efficiency. The ideal candidates will have significant experience in similar settings and a strong commitment to safe work practices.

What You’ll Need

- 5+ years of excavator operating experience, preferably in oil sands,



industrial, pipeline or heavy civil construction
- Experience with 30-ton to 80-ton class excavators is an asset
- Proven experience with trenching, utility installation, ditching, grading, and production excavation
- Valid Ground Disturbance ticket
- Familiarity with GPS and tracking devices
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong communication skills and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
