The Role Assist the Director, Taxation in global reporting, such as OECD Pillar 2 and Country-by-Country Reporting data gathering and analysis. Assist the Director, Taxation in corporate initiatives, such as M&A activities, post-divestiture projects and reorganization, etc. Assess direct and indirect tax implications for projects operating in the international market (North America, Europe and Asia) including the permanent establishment, foreign country tax issues, global mobility concerns and VAT issues. Advise operations and various corporate functions on their transactional tax matters and compliance needs. Prepare and/or review the monthly, quarterly and annual tax provision in accordance with IFRS. Manage Canadian and US tax returns filing prepared externally, and coordinate with external advisors on R&D credit claim. Review
