Your current companyThis opportunity is with a well-established real estate owner/operator with a large-scale, high-profile asset in Surrey, BC. The business partners with a leading security provider to deliver best-in-class security operations across the site.Due to continued focus on operational excellence, they are now looking to appoint a Manager of Security Operations to oversee on-site security delivery.Your new roleReporting into senior leadership, you will take full ownership of security operations, managing both strategy and day-to-day execution.You will oversee a team of ~30 on-site guards (via a 3rd party company), working closely with the Senior Director of Client Services and the Site Security Manager.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will:- Lead, mentor and hold the security team accountable across multiple shifts- Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for tenants and visitors- Oversee incident management, investigations, and reporting- Manage security systems including access control (Lenel) and CCTV (Milestone)- Drive continuous improvement across policies, procedures,



and risk mitigation- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, tenants, and external stakeholdersThe schedule is typically Monday–Friday (8–4), with flexibility required for occasional evenings/weekends to support the team.What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will have:- 5+ years’ experience in security operations, ideally within large, complex sites- Proven experience managing teams in a multi-shift environment- Strong understanding of access control and CCTV systems (Lenel & Milestone preferred)- Excellent communication, leadership, and incident management skills- A valid (or previous) security license is highly preferredWhat you'll get in returnA salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 is on offer + 10% Bonus, + 4 weeks VacationWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, send a copy of your resume to [email protected] or apply for the position through this advert
